The price of the medal is around 50? at the moment, but we both know that the value of Yugoslav orders & medals doubled in the past few years. And yes, as far as i know this medal was given to foreign partisans.

Bryan Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 (edited) Christian, never rely on Collect Russia for the market prices. Would you pay right now $155 for a Partisan Star 3rd Class? Edited July 27, 2007 by Soviet
Ed_Haynes Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Christian, never rely on Collect Russia for the market prices. Would you pay right now $155 for a Partisan Star 3rd Class? Ah . . . yes . . . but dealers around the world know the site, and use it to "calibrate" their prices . . . even in Ulanbaatar.
Bryan Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Some information about this medal from the 2005 edition of the magazine "Orden 5".And an English summary.
Bryan Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Oh wow! This medal is not easy to find, so I can imagine that the case must be rare!
Bryan Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 (edited) I don't know if there is another thread about this medal. balkanphila Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Thanks guys, I had never seen that before, it's a wonderful award Document for this medal from september 1968 awarded to Frenchman signed by J.B. Tito !
Emanuel Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Great purchase Balkanphila, I like this Document a lot, it's great indeed !! Cheers
ruiz Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 A little more information. It was created in 1965 specifically to honor foreigners who had fought in WWII, along with the Yugoslav partisans. It is made in bronze and plated in silver with enamel. I think they just gave those who were still alive (not sure) so that the medal is scarce. At the front is shown in red map of Poland, but were not only given to people of that nationality. On the back of the medal shows the slogan "Freedom for the people, death to fascism." Best regards, Ruiz.
