Bulgaria Foreign Awards to Bulgarians and vv.

Hi!

One thing I like when searching for award certs is to find certs from other countries to Bulgarian people or Bulgarian

awards to foreigners

Here is a couple of such papers the first one probably the most common

a Soviet Victory over Germany to a Bulgarian soldier.

Here is another one new in my collection

Medal for Inner Ministerium 30 years awarded to an DDR VOPO GenMaj !

He was just promoted to GenMaj when he got this award.

This is an interesting combination, Christer. The medal is "The 30th anniversary of the liberation from the fascist domination", i.e., the 30th anniversary of 23 August 1944. On the booklet however it is written "The 30th anniversary of the day of the armed forces", i.e., 25 October 1944. I wonder how it came to this.

I think I have the wrong medal for this cert, it must be the 1974 Romanian Army 30 year !
