    And this is my new order of the red star. I think, seriall number is 319 488? I'm I right? I'll also ask a few questions for this one, is everything OK with this piece and what is your best guess about awarding time and place?

    Yes! But first I wanted to ask about originality and about the serial number.

    Howewer I think there may be a chance that this one was never awarded as it's in almost mint condition. Look at the screwplate, it's like new. Something, I would not expect from a 1943 award.

    September or October 1943.

    That appears to be a nice original silver screw-plate that has simply been polished.

    I took the liberty of lightening up your picture a bit so the number appears more clearly. . .
