I was browsing through this wonderfull forum and came across a old thread on white falcons where i did see a very nice picture posted by Stogie.

Is that person known by name? (se attachement)

can't comment on the person or falcon, but

interesting to see the reverse of the EK 2 on the

medal bar displayed.

I've seen that alot, and not just on the eks but other awards as well. I believe it was a personal statement about the recently defunct monarchy. Since they didn't make new awards ala the 57er versions they chose to turn them around and put the symbol of royalty out of sight.

JMHO though with no proof either way.

A great photo showing one of the myriad of rank configurations worn by the DLV during it's short history. His tunic is interesting too in that it has the button hole on the upper left lapel like a civilian suit coat.
