It appears to be a Red Army Officer wearing an Order of the Red Banner, as well as another award I do not recognize. Guest Rick Research Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 From his age, that is almost certainly a long service Red Banner awarded in the first mass bestowal of 3 November 1944 for 20 to 24 years service.
