Guest Rick Research Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 Oddly enough, the current American practice (which results in parading flags looking like some sort of Royal Thai umbrellas) takes after the Imperial GERMAN system of attaching campaign medal ribbons to regimental standards, etc.As units are amalgamated (like yourn ) it becomes very difficult to see the flag for the flappers.
