Ulsterman Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I've wondered about these-I bought a couple of blanks from an antique dealer back in 1974. What were they-replacements?
peter monahan Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I've wondered about these-I bought a couple of blanks from an antique dealer back in 1974. What were they-replacements?It's been 20 years since I collected these, but my recollection is that replacements were named too and that the unnamed Stars probably represent unissued stock, eventually sold off by HMG as scrap / surplus. My tuppence worth
