Paul R Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Hello,I would like to start a running database of issued LW tunic stampings. Bear in mind that this data will only be available on depot/issued pieces. Privately tailored pieces will not have these stamps. I am looking for the following data as is it stamped on liners of the Continental Blue/Gray tunics:1. Type of tunic(Fleigerbluse, Tuchrock, or Waffenrock)2. Piping(Flight, Flak, Admin, or etc)3. L.B.A. Code and number4. Depot markings5. Unit designators6. Other stamps or marks not covered above(excluding the sizing grid)7. Named?Maybe we can find some patterns of distribution. Who knows what other data may emerge!!
Paul R Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 I will go first.1. Tuchrock2. Medical EM3. L.B.A. 384. Villhelm Holl(?) Berlin 9 385. III Fl. I Rgt 13. 13 Battln.6. None7. UnnamedMust be a reissue piece, or perhaps a Sani attached to this Company?
Paul R Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 1. Tuchrock2. Flak Uffz3. L.B.A.(S) 38 and L.B.A. (S) 354. No Depot Mark5. 2.I.Fl.Reg 49(on name tag)6. None7. "Kanonier Maier Helmut"For some reason, there are two LBA Stamps on this tunic. Does this indicate a reissue? Strange with two pre war dates? Now I was informed that the (S) represented the city of Stuttgart.
Paul R Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 1. Tuchrock2. Sonderfuhrer-O (feldwebel)3. L.B.A.(S) 384. Fl. Gr. Aibling 19385. No unit designated6. None7. Unnamed
