    I consider myself a rank novoice, but this is probably the worst recommendation I have ever seen. Can anyone make ANYTHING out of this mud-fest?!?!?

    A Lieutenant who was also wounded during the War, but interestingly the citation was written in October 1944, approved in October 1945, the Ukaz was from November 1947 and the medal didn't get to him until 1967!!!

    under education it says "higher 1962" (!?) and the "GPI str. f-t." which I can't guess what that menas

    Georgian, in army since September 1938

    decorated as rifle platoon commander in 77th Gds Rifle Rgt, 26th Gds Rifles Div.

    When Awards Record Card was filled out (13.4.67) he was Leading Engineer of Lesichinsky (Something) Sovkhoz

    Citation: in his unit 20.12.43 to 22.(3?).44, at which point he was wounded in the right (something). Since the, GPW Invalid 3rd Group, working on the labor front in Soviet-Party organization on the Sovkhoz.
