Great photos! Maximilian (Ritter von) Braun was born in Regensburg 31 August 1869. He served in the Bavarian army 1890-1919, retiring as an Oberstleutnant. He died in Munich 30 May 1948.

Great photos indeed! The General awarding the BMJ3 must be Generalleutnant z.D. Gustav Scanzoni von Lichtenfels, Commanding General of the 6. Baverische Reserve-Division.
