Steve campbell Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Here's a nice EK2 marked number 6 for Fritz Zimmermann. This ones in nice condition with a well marked stamp on the ring.
Danny70 Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Nice one Steve! One of the my favourite EK2 makers.Congrats!Regards - Danny
Steve campbell Posted December 30, 2007 Author Posted December 30, 2007 Thanks, this is a really nice example to boot.
Bill Garvy Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 It probably has the "." after the "6" as illustrated below. . .
Steve campbell Posted December 30, 2007 Author Posted December 30, 2007 Yes it does. I guess so it won't be mistaken as a 9.
Motorhead Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Nice one-and there's no confirmed Nr9 so far.At a german forum we are collecting the confirmed makers( pieces in members collection or confirmed ones by the internet). And so far there are big differences to the WAF stats. For example the "8"-the first one was listed by me-later I found out that it was a bad stamped 3....and so there are many others.I've got some really strange ones in my collection which have to discussed(included an "8" (in my opinion someone has stamped that long time after the war).Maybe I will post my suspects later...Micha
Bill Garvy Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 That must be the forum we corresponded about, and to which I sent you some scans of a "5" from my collection. Would you be so kind as to post a link to that Forum and the topic thread when you have a chance, Micha? Thanks. . .
Motorhead Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Bill,I didn't post that EK at that thread-It's obviously a"Floch" so it should have an own one! but here's the link to the "Sammlergemeinschaft deutscher Auszeichnungen"! You have to register, but it's quick and easy done(and of course for free)http://www.sammlergemeinschaft-deutscherau...?threadid=16523It's not the same like the WAF stats-we started that list because of many questionable makers at other lists! All the listed numbers are confirmed and discussed. There may be other makers(for example my 49 which it is no FLOCH).Unfortunately are the '39 EK collectors spread over a few internet forums.......Micha
