    Ed,

I believe this simply means that, at current price levels, Mongolian orders are overpriced.

Quite frankly, Marc, I would hope people agree with you. Mongolian awards are trash. STAY AWAY!!

My conclusion is a different one - the highest end Mongolian items got good (even somewhat high) prices... the 2 SBs and the 4.250 Order of Labor Glory. As with Soviet items, prices for these will continue to rise I expect. It's been the "lower end" stuff which didn't sell probably for a number of reasons:

    - easier / quicker ways to get them than from this auction

    - available copies of these awards more than sufficient to satisfy demand

Take a look at Alexei's site - all top end items sold / on hold.

    Bob,

In my reference to the auction results, I noticed that the "common stuff" did not sell. My remark was about that, not about the rare OMDs.

Ah yes, I see your point.

Although there are more simple ways to obtain those "common" awards anyway - e.g. eBay rather than wait for an auction.

Based on the published auction prices I know that I've won a few items in this auction but have not received any communication on this yet from the auctioneer. Anybody else here with a "win" at this auction? Did you get any info already confirming auction result, requesting total payment, etc.?

    Thanks

My sense is that he is being very VERY slow. Not overly surprised . . . .

well... slow also means slow in receiving $$$ so I'm not sure if that's what I would do
