Guest Rick Research Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Weller was der Landwehr-- I can't find his first name. But he survived the war. No awards before the war.
Glenn J Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Chris,Assistenzarzt d.R.: 27.1.07Oberarzt d.R.: 18.8.08He was serving in Sanit?ts-Kompanie 111 of 111. Infanterie-Division at the time of his promotion to Stabsarzt d.L. (Flensburg) on 27.1.16RegardsGlenn
webr55 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I think this is Dr. Hugo Weller, who got his Dr. med. from Berlin on 30.3.1906. He is listed as "Arzt aus Osterode am Harz, einj.-freiw. Arzt beim Eisenbahn-Reg. Nr. 1".(The only alternative would be a Paul Weller, Dr. med. in Jena 1902.)
Glenn J Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Chris,I think this is Dr. Hugo Weller, who got his Dr. med. from Berlin on 30.3.1906That makes sense with his Assistenzarzt promotion date in early 1907.RegardsGlenn
Guest Rick Research Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I also just noticed that the Urkunde itself was printed in the occupied territories-- notice use of "ae" and "oe" because the German accent marks were not available as typeface.
Glenn J Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Signed by the later Generalmajor Ernst v. Heynitz, commander of 34. Landwehr-Infanterie-Brigade.RegardsGlenn
