I love the Bau/Pioneer/RLM tabs.

Can you make a closeup of the FD tabs, where the piping is attached? I just want to see the stitching technique used to attach the piping to the tabs.

The stitching of the piping is virtually invisible, as it is underneath the center of the piping. Here you can see a stitch just barely peeking out.

Hi,

Nice tabs. In addition to the mentioned use of the black waffenfarbe for Engineer and RLM it was also used for Luftwaffe officers assigned to the Luftschutz.

The Hauptmann tabs for the black are a particularly hard rank to find. It was the last pair of tabs I needed to complete my series of black tabs and it took me almost 2 years to find a matched pair.

I would have to hold the FD tabs in my hands to be sure. I am on the fence on these. However, the black tabs are most beautiful!!
