joe campbell
the 28th Div, in my estimation, is one of the most"underreported" divisions of the second world war.horrible conditions...Huertgen Forest....my slanted perspective as a native Pennsylvanianmay have something to do with this, and a grandfatherwho was a battalion surgeon with the 28th on the Western Front in WW1.i'm not at home to look up the titles, but there are a number ofexcellent books on the 28th. perhaps scott can make somesuggestions.joe
