Hi,

can anyone help me date an EK doc? During what time frame would an award signed by major von Langsdorff, Regiments KOMMANDEUR (Not F?hrer) of the IR184 have been signed.

Chris,

just checked the regimental history at the MGFA and found out he is PLM winner Julius v. Langsdorff. He commanded Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 184 from 6 October 1916 - 23 September 1918.

Hi,

thanks Glenn. Andy Baus gave me the bad news as well.

It seems he was a major all that length of time as well. I was hoping that a Majot regt commander would be either a 1) Temp command or 2) he would promoted, allowing me to somehow date the award (no date on it)

no such luck :-(
