norwest78 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 12x magnification loupe for examining recon photos. This is especially fitting in my collection since I have a grouping to an observer who was a recon photographer, and I also have a camera of the type he would have used. The loupe is of exceptional quality, and weighs 11.5 oz, or 330g.

norwest78 Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 Lenses are clear -- much more than the photo.
Paul R Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 It looks like it was made yesterday. It is a great piece of militaria with a practical use! I bet some fine details can be revealed looking at period photos with it.
norwest78 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 Not sure of the source, Paul. This was a photo I saved for reference some time ago.
