If any members know of any good shops or dealers specializing in 1916 memorabilia or medals in Dublin or Cork that would great. I'm heading over in August. Can't wait.

There is a show on in Dublin on the 16th August in the North Star Hotel, just across from Connolly Station in Central Dublin, doors open at 10am and its open until 3pm. You may pick up something interesting for your collection there.

actually over on WAF im trying to get a few people together to go to this so if your round team canada give me a shout and im sure can show you round the place and get a few cheeky pints in to!! all good!! as for irish stuff really depends what your looking for! i can tell you the places in dublin where they sell militaria (??) if your looking for a 1916 medal youd have to wait till an auction or till another collector want to part with his and but expect to pay BBIIIIIGGGG money for it!!

One thing is for sure, there won't be any cheap bargains to be had at the North Star Hotel show....those days are well and truely gone.

Iv picked up one two nice things over the last year but sometimes you do have to dig for em!but i mainly go for the books and meeting up with other collectors!
