Stogieman
Looks like some type of artillery device.
landsknechte
For a moment, I thought I had found the rare "flaming cocktail shaker" shoulderboard cypher of the Fallschirm-bartender-regt.

landsknechte
There's something vaguely British about the way that device looks, but that's a completely uneducated guess based purely on aesthetics. Stogieman
My guess would have been Brit or French

Paul R
Huh... You learn something every day. Cool.--ChrisI saw a better look of that ribbon bar... The insignia is placed on a KVM ribbon. The prongs on are wrapped around the bar. They do not penetrate the fabric or the bar and it could be removed without evidence... unless it was on the bar so long that there are fading/staining patterns present around where the insignia is placed.Warm regardsPaul Edited October 24, 2005 by Paul Reck
