Hi, is there any knowledge about the Austria Merit Order out There ?

I found this Order but what class is it? I have only seen Merit order worn on band earlier

It's an Officer's breast Cross. Souval is also famous for the restriking of the Azad Hind Decorations.

Hi Christer,

your piece is original and having it in the original case (also with manufacturer's mark of Souval?) is a plus.

The Merit Order awarded from the government of the Austrian 1st Republic was made by Rothe; Reitterer and Souval.

During WW1, Souval was also the maker of the (original) Milit?rverdienstkreuz 1st Class.

Hi my Merit Order has arrived !

And its a beuty, I am now combing through all Swedish Rolls to look after a possible owner

So far I only found two paople who had this award , but only covered 1928-1934 so 4 more years to go !

If I am correct this would be a 4th class award ? The regulations for this award seems to be a real

i've always been fond of these for some reason.

there are a bazillion service levels between the two color combos to the enamel. sorta confusing.

one could spend quite a bit of effort collecting them all!
