Kev in Deva Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 Hallo Gents, I was invited last week to attend an Irish Traditional Musical Review in the Sala Mare, City Hall, Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, the invite came via the Irish Ambassador H.E. Mr. John Morahan, and the Mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Mr. Emil Boc.Guest of Honour being President of Ireland Mrs Mary McAleese and her husband Dr. Martin McAleese, accompanied by her Aide-de-Camp, Colonel Declan Carberry.The next morning I went on up to the "Heros Cemetery" in Cluj and photographed all the Soviet headstones, after that I took a wander through the civil section of the graveyard and came across this one:ROTARIU COSTACHE Born:- 24 II 1923 - Died:- X X X XKevin in Deva.
