They had the same devices as the other branches of the military, except in the Navy the board underlay stayed dark blue.

Guest Rick Research Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 There was a distinction in the navy between administrative OFFICIALS (Beamten)-- which is what the sleeve insignia above are forand administrative OFFICERS (Verwaltungsoffiziere) which is what the naval paymaster corps turned into in 1935. The army paymasters did NOT become Verwaltungsoffiziere-- the army ones stayed Beamten. These are for a Korvettenkapit?n (V) for a naval paymaster 1935 +This device was also used by the army's Truppensonderdienst administrative officer corps in 1944, on a medium blue underlay.

Erik Krogh Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Here is my Naval judicial shoulder board for a Kriegsgericht Korvettenkapit?n. The underlay is crimson (as mentioned on page 152 Vol. 1 Angolia "die Kriegsmarine"). It also has the Naval gold sword unique to the KM.
Erik Krogh Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Here is a pair of KM Admin NCO (Oberfeldwebel) boards.
Paul R Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Great stuff guys!! It is interesting to see that the KM TSD-Judicial used the wine red waffenfarbe! That is one ultra rare board.Keep it coming!
