Steve campbell Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Ahh, too bad on the front. Probably worth keeping due to the attachement system. Still a shame.
Motorhead Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 It's the really hard to get "stamped" maker mark variation.....of course I will keep it! Micha
Steve campbell Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 I was going to suggest you sell it to me. What do you think happened to it?
Motorhead Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) I know it from the seller....waste sorting! He found it together with a screwback silver WB(also K.M.) marked.Someone has simply thrown them away!! Edited April 12, 2009 by Motorhead
Motorhead Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 Yes.....that happened a lot here.Especially with 2rd Reich stuff. Documents, pictures ect....But it's really bad luck when ultra rare things like this Ek are getting damaged or destroyed. But no way to repair it(and I wouldn't try it).The result would have been always a "put together".So it will stay here until I can't get an upgrade.

joe campbell Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 i would keep this even with an upgrade so that youcould display both front and back and the MM.i actually LIKE the character of this one a great deal!!joe
gregM Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 It's still a keeper in my opinion.I like Joe's idea of displaying one up and one down.I do that with one of my double post screwbacks..
Motorhead Posted April 12, 2009 Author Posted April 12, 2009 Ok,but for a proper display I need two of each....... That could give me a bit of a problem I need more money!!!Micha
John Burchell Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 OK, guys...here's another one. Had to dig deep into my collection to find it, but here it is in all it's glory.Cheers,John
Motorhead Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Nice?? That KMST looks absolutely minty! From what I can see on this picture it has got 100% paint on the core......I would add it to my collection in a second! Absolutely fantastic!Micha
