Guest Rick Research Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Absolutely-- but too many with that combination to pluck one out, like Bernd/t von Kleist's Hohenzollern/Ernestine pair. With the SMK in last place... most likely a member of Saxon Inf Rgt 133.

Guest Rick Research Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 It is also possible that the first two were Knights 1st Class for a Captain, rather than Knights 2nd for Lieutenants. That is another "problem" with ribbons alone that do not indicate Class of awards by devices- ALL swords were gold on these.
Riley1965 Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Hi Christophe,Thank You for helping me learn more about Imperial awards!!! DocI've found a ribbon chart for Imperial ODMs. This should be an excellent aid in learning about these ODMs. Doc
Guest Rick Research Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 The best reference of all-- and pocket size so it goes easily to shows isThese are out of print, but turn up occasionally. I thought somebody was reprinting them again last year, but that (?) appears to have fallen through. Nothing is as good as this--and they are keyed to the numbers in the matching Deutschland Katalog price guides.
saschaw Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Rick, they finally did a reprint at Battenberg Verlag. Available everywhere, at least in Germany. A "must have" reference, at least for those old of us, as Rick and me, who have the 1991 issue. :P

Deruelle Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Hi, Rick has right, I have got the same book and like it is a pocket version it is easier to take it to military show. Witht this book, when I was young I could have found some treasure.Christophe
