    ? Württemberg, Dienstehrenzeichen 1. Klasse, Kreuz für Offiziere und Mannschaften nach 25 Dienstjahre, 1891-1921 (OEK 3089)

    ? Württemberg, Dienstauszeichnung 3. Klasse, Medaille für 9 Dienstjahre (OEK 3103)

    ? Deutsches Reich 1934-45, Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen für 40 Jahre (OEK )

    Weitere Medaille:

    And a loose KVK 2 Kl. ohne Schwertern obviously received by the recipient after the construction of his medal bar during WWII.

    Here you can see the typical "simplified" (cheaper) W?rttemberg'sche ribbon folding style... these Alemannen... so practical, same effect but less effort... like we Swiss... ;-)

    I always like seeing the pieces, but really like to know what to look for, and why this is interesting.

    Here is just to show how the Svabians were quite conservative in spending money... no backing on the reverse of the ribbon bar. Who would have looked at the back 70-80 years ago anyway? Only now, crazy collectors like me are attracted by such useless details. In w?rttemberg they didn't spend an extra cent for covering the back... in the end what is more important is what is shown on the obverse... :rolleyes:
