    Hi Joe,

Nice one! Interesting to note that Juncker did not use the anti-spin pin, nor the typical "puffy" crown core (as found on cores by many other makers) on their WW2 produced 1914EK1s.

Nice score ! Thanks for posting that Joe , I've never been lucky enough to run into a TR 1914 screwback before... I wonder if someone will post a TR 1914 EK with both the LDO and PK markings next !

    Very sweet! Joe.

That is one beautiful Juncker. It looks to be factory vaulted. Is that correct?

If it is vaulted, there would be no need for the anti spin pin. The outside points of the frame would act in the anti spin capacity once the cross has been firmly screwed to the tunic. Think about it for a moment. Only flat screwback crosses need the pin.

    Again, Just sweeet!

That is an interesting cross. I would like to see a better picture of the crown. It has a

strong resemblance to the crowns used on the "MFH" marked Imperial EKs.

    tony-

factory vault as far as i'm concerned.

    greg-

i'll work on a better crown for you. i'm on

call tonight (two babies done, one to go!!-

3 AM no doubt...) and getting a new airedale

tomorrow. (we had to put our sweet duncan down

after a heart infection and resultant heart failure.)

thanks for the interest in this cross!

    Thanks Joe.

It looked to be vaulted in the pic. Just making sure I can still see straight.

Interested? Heck yeh! Both intellectually and with 'lust in my heart'.

Reason being I have both a flat L/12 marked SB '39 EKI and an unmarked vaulted Juncker SB '39 EKI. Your L/12 marked '14 EKI would complete a Juncker screwback trifecta.:blush:

Please keep me in mind should you ever want to move it along.

Sorry to hear about Duncan. They do become family don't they. Enjoy the new guy.

    Take care,

    Tony
