I have an award document for the Prussian XXV year LSC dated 1861 to this officer. If anyone has any information on him, it would be appreciated. He was in Brandenburgisches Dragoner-Regiment 2.

    Vince,

Thure von Kuylenstjerna (24.03.1829-23.03.1888) went on to command Ulan. R. 12 11.02.1873-12.03.1878 and then he became "Inspekteur der Train", retiring on 05.02.1887 as a Gen.Lt.

    Hello,

I'm not sure - but maybe Thure Ernst Gustav von Kuylenstjerna is from the swedish Kuylenstierna ???

    This is what I found:

There are two Officers by the name of Kuylenstjerna in the 1865 Rangliste. One a Hauptmann in an Artillerie-Regiment and the other a Rittmeister in the Kavallerie.

    Here is the Rittmeister

The family is originally from Sweden, moved in the mid 1700s to Prussia (Brandenburg and Pommern)
