Has anyone ever seen any Kriegsmarein Medical enlisted tunics or Colanis? I would love to see some untouched versions!

The Collectors Guild had a nice Senior NCO/Officer Candidate Medical Reefer Jacket, seen here: http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Kriegsmarine/photos/K003661.html

That's the only Kriegsmarine medical garment I've seen in awhile.

Would medical personnel have had the "Line" star insignia on the sleeve, even as officer aspirants, as shown on the piece from Collector's Guild?

A true medical officer candidate tunic would have the Aesculapian staff, not the five pointed line star.

To be fair, Pete has noted this in his description of the tunic.

Didn't think for a moment you were having a go at Pete. To be honest, although the tunic is a nice original piece, my own opinion is that either the sleeve stars or the shoulder straps have probably been added postwar. The mix of line sleeve stars and medical boards just doesn't fit.

If I bought this one, I'd either remove the Aesculapian staff from the shoulder straps or add replace the sleeve starts with a pair of these -----

I have tried to find out info about this person, but with no luck.

There is loops for a ribbon bar, but since I don't know what medals he had I haven't found any bar to put on this tunic yet.
