Kriegsmarine Plate Full of U-Boat Badges

Here's a picture I just picked up at the SOS of U-Boat badges being awarded. The gloved Leutnant has the next badge to be awarded in his hand while the Kapitänleutnant extends his hand. Nice batch of badges!

There certainly are a few dollars worth of badges in that plate, Gordon. Since the crew members are wearing the Matrosenmütze (i.e. early war), there might be a good chance that all of those badges were fire-gilded tombak...
