Hi Gentlemen,

can someone give me some Information to this Wehrmacht officer?

He served in the navy from 1938 - 1944 and was promoted to

Kapitaenleutnant(W) d.R. on 01.02.1940

The units i have are:

M.A. Za Wilhelmshaven

M.A.K. I Düsseldorf

M. Abn. Insp. (A)

Can someone tell me what this units means?

Maybe there are more Information about him and the awards he earned.

He was also active in WW1.

I am not sure but I would guess something with Marine Artillery.

M. AK.= Marine Abschnittskommandeur (sector commander)

I think M.A.za=Marine Artillery (or Abscnitt= sector),

za- Zuegamt (ordinace dept.).
