mmerc20 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I have had this stick grenade for awhile and have only ever found one other example online before. There, it was listed as a Chicom practice grenade but I don't know anything else about it or if that is in fact true. Has anyone dealt with them before? Is 58 the manufacture year? Any clue what the rest says? It is in beautiful condition and since I haven't come across many to compare it to I wonder how rare and/or valuable they really are. It's outside my field of interest so I probably won't hang on to it forever although I would like to know more about it. Mike
bmsm Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) Here's my Chinese stick grenade with the mark of 68 stamped on the handle. It is 8 in. tall and the "explosive " head is 1.90 in. across. Bob Edited April 3, 2010 by bmsm
hc8604 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 It says Type 58. 58 is not the year, but it can probably be the year the grenade type was adapted.
