I acquired it several years ago before cased pieces started bringing such a premium, mainly because I thought that the "extra" included was interesting. It is what appears to be an old spent soft lead bullet attached to a silk string. Perhaps the EK wasn't his only "souvenir" of France. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you have a pal on the local police dept., ask them if they can put some luminal on the bullet. If there are any red blood cells on it, they should light up under a black light. Just a thought.
