muckaroon1960
I have in my collection this EK2 which has what appears to be some kind of (makers) mark on the suspension ring? Cannot identify as to what if anything the mark is? Any comments would be most welcome. (Will post picture of mark in next reply). Thanks.

Tom Y
Nothing I recognize. It may just be a less than perfect job of soldering.
joe campbell
a sideline special interest of mine - 1914 EK 2 maker marks... i've looked through 1000's and 1000's, and there are a signi- ficant percentage with incomplete or illegible maker marks on them. this is one of those, i think. nice cross, however!! joe
muckaroon1960
Thanks Joe, this has been puzzling me as to what the mark could be? There is a soldered joint mark further round but this is on the outside of the ring (see the first picture at about 7 o'clock).
