HeikoGrusdat Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 uiuiui.... a regulations killer ;-) could you please post a close-up of this never before seen private inofficial-inofficial clasp LANGEMARK on the Flanderncross...
HeikoGrusdat Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Very interesting..... wrong writing : LANGEMAK instead of LANGEMARK Could you put your bar on the scaner and zoom in just this clasp? Seems that it is really handmade at home.... of course it is not one of the clasps that was officially (inofficially) created for the Flanderncross...but we know some names of battles or places that are not originally created for a medal or a cross with clasps , often the vets made their own thing to show where they were in war...
HeikoGrusdat Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Wow.... really handmade , point for point... very cool !!!
Brian Wolfe Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Hi Dante, What a great trio. Thanks for sharing it with us. Regards Brian
VtwinVince Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Funny that they spelled it wrong. My grandfather had a similar bar made for 'Dixmude'.
HeikoGrusdat Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Yes Vince... I remember that one.... and I had some for China and DSWA that were homemade in different styles , very interesting indeed...
