Claudius Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Bonjour, Do you identify medalbar ? - EK-II 1914, - Preuss. Hohenzollern Orden, - Preuss. Roter Adler-Orden 4. Kl., - ????, - ????, - ????, - ????. Crdl Thierry Close up on the bar would help. Even a blurry one. But, from this distance, the second to last one looks like a Hanseatic Cross -Bremen and the last one, Braunschweig Order or Hannover Guelphic-Order, but all of this is REALLY guessing. the shoulder dressing. He sure put on his old-world finery for this photo.

Ulsterman Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 See here: http://www.oocities.com/~orion47/WEHRMACHT/KRIEGSMARINE/Vizeadmirals/KOLBE_HANS.html decorations (as of 1932) REO4, EK1,Officers' Long Service cross, HHOx, LuH, McKlnbrg. Cross 2 and Portuguese Life saving medal!
Ulsterman Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Interesting wearing precedence. he wears the Hansa in the penultimate place-AFTER the LS cross and before the Portuguese medal. His medal bar will be easy to identify if it ever comes to market.
webr55 Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 The last one is a Swedish Vasa order, Knight 2nd cl. A pre-WW1 award.
