2xvetran Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 Here is a new arrival, an Iraqi Air Force Bravery Medal manufactured in Chile. Scott.
2xvetran Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 A Popular Army cap probably Romanian made.
2xvetran Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 A Popular Army uniform from the 1980-88 War with Iran. Notice the double button pockets instead of the single button normally seen on Iraqi Army uniforms. Also from a Romanian contract. Scott.
2xvetran Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 Iraqi produced DPM from 1990-91 Gulf War. This is the pattern that caused England to have to change theirs. This uniform has matching camo Captain ranks, pin on gold bordered RG triangles, a pre 1991 pin on breast flag, black enameled wings, and a "hard missions" breast badge. Also the red qardoon for RG units. Scott.

2xvetran Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Here is a very nice gilt Iraqi Navy anchor badge. It appears to be for a hat or beret but could possibly be for a tunic collar as well. Scott.
2xvetran Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 The reverse of the anchor. It is stamped but the detail is quite nice. Scott.

2xvetran Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 Here is a nice set o well used bullion Iraqi Para wings from the 70s-80s. These can be seen in use during the Iran-Iraq war on blumentarn style jump smocks that the Iraqi's were using. There is a good shot of them in the "Camoflage Uniforms of the Middle East" book. Scott.
2xvetran Posted December 20, 2010 Author Posted December 20, 2010 The reverse of the para wings. Scott.
bmsm Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Here are a couple of Kingdom garrison caps. Scott. Scott, The deep green piping is for the Military Court and the red is for higher officers. The cap with the red piping is used with the higher officers badge on the front. If there is no manufacturing tags inside, they were made in Iraq. Bob
