two 1870 groups?will i find a good one?

1st one a meck. 1870 group? Is the Duppel cross on wrong ribbon? I know the might be a couple diffrent ribbons for reserves ?

Common for the 1914 cross but not the 1870er. Of course the fakes of the 1870ers are mostly known from the front ala the 9th bead fake etc... so.......

Both bars look period to me, although you are right, the Dueppel is on the wrong ribbon, and it is odd that the EK is backwards.

I've seen a few 1870s mounted backwards, too.

I don't think this one has any problems, though -- looks to be a good Type A EK2 from what we can see.
