barzda Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 EK2 1914 (one piece)- What is your opinion about this cross. Perhaps known manufacturer ? (is opinion that - Otto Schickle, Pforzheim ) thanks,
gregM Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 One piece alloy cross presumably made late war or inter war. Some believe them to be made by Schickle but truth is, we don't know for sure. These can be found in 2nd class and 1st class versions with pin back and / or screwback attachments.
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I think it LOOKS OK...but if I was to buy it I would like to see it first. I think the in hand nspection (What kind of metal, weight, basically "the feel") are best for pieces like this. Best Chris
Eric Stahlhut Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 i like it-- i have several examples on medal bars that also include hindenburg crosses or other postwar commemorative awards, etc. as greg states, no definite known maker
