IrishGunner Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 No info; but will be curious to see what is posted. The cannon is intriguing. And now I know what country the medal I've seen at the flea market is from; looks just like this except for the cannon design. The one I've seen I think has a soldier in the center.

This medal is usually found on a small rectangular suspension, i cannot say what it is for though. I have only ever seen them on small suspensions.
Paul R Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I am surprised that I do not see more Vietnamese militaria around.
dcollect Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 ribbon is for the "NLF Soldier of Liberation Order"
Taz Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Hi, It's a Danh Gioi Artillery Medal on the wrong ribbon. It should be mounted on a small metal devise, red with a golden star in the middle. Regards Eddie
