Schießplatzmeister
Could anyone tell me how much a Bavarian Military Service Cross 2nd Class with Crown and Swords in mint condition might be worth? Here is some photos for one that is for sale Hello: This is a nice Deschler piece with the case and a piece of ribbon for officials. I would estimate the value in the range of US$225-$275. Note that this is a "bayerische Miltär-Verdienstkreuz" (Bavarian Military MERIT Cross) which was an award associated with merit and not service. Bavaria had distinct awards for service which were not related to this item. A nice piece that looks to be original (forgeries do exist). How much was the seller asking for it? Best regards, "SPM"

avadski
The seller is derrittmeister they are asking $725.00 for it. That's waaay off from average market price - but 'meister' is well known for his 'bargains'. In Europe you have to give approx. 200 EUR for the cross + 80-100 EUR for the case. saschaw
While he has some great stuff, he indeed deserves his nick name "expensivemaster". :P

Meister should check how Klaus Butschek or Carsten Baldes are doing business. Low prices therefore nearly no stock and 80% of new items sold the same day they arrived. He is old enough to decide what he is doing and no man alive has the right to judge about his business behavior.
VtwinVince
These are nice pieces and usually sell in the 200-300.00 range, depending on maker and condition.
