muckaroon1960 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Bought this Soviet Naval cap or should that be hat from a recent militaria show. Not a great fan of modern militaria but thought this looked great and displays really well. I have been told this is from Black Sea Navy but I cannot confirm?
muckaroon1960 Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 Close up of the ribbon and badge.
Komandir RKKA Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 If you are original militaria fan I'll disappoint you - the only original part of this item is it's cocarde.
muckaroon1960 Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Thanks for that information but please explain your above comment?
Komandir RKKA Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) Both tally and cap are handmade "dembel" items. You can see a period original cap and tallies here http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=46588 Edited November 25, 2010 by Komandir RKKA
