I can't believe that you actually received the ribbon bars from the family. That would be great if they could provide you a copy of the Militarpass, Soldbuch, and/or copied photos. Jason Jason, Unfortunatly there is nothing left - nobody knows and nobody is interested - over the last decade the family-history was either thrown away or sold piece by piece. . Ulsterman Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hmmmm... I have LtdR Schneider in IR 28 and then transferring to IR 69 in July, 1915. But there was also a Gerhard Schneider who was a Major who was in the Regiments Verein in 1929 (and living in Frankfurt).
