Here a closeup of one of them. What a crap construction! And why using a clasp with the inscription "Gefecht" (combat) instead of crossed swords for example? Maybe that would look too much military.

Using painted medals brings our country back to produce "GDR quality" medals. I think we are not very far away to institute medals made from aluminium with plastic enamel...
