kapten_windu Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 (edited) Hi Gentlemen, i just found a seller that sell some badge under average price, the items are beautiful, but i'm affraid if the're just fake, here some of them: Anti Partisan Badge in bronze: marked L/58 Picture: Edited April 12, 2011 by kapten_windu
Guest Darrell Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I'll give some advice. If it's the same person trying to sell Pilots badges you posted ... time to look elsewhere in a hurry.
Gordon Craig Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 kapten_windu Very few of these badges were made or issued. The chances of finding an authetic one, at any price, are virtually zero. Regards, Gordon

Robin Lumsden Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Unusual to see the 'L/58' mark on this particular repro. Old Souval copies usually have a distinctive skull. This must be a more modern 'hybrid'.

kapten_windu Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 Some days ago i see a bronze Anti Partisan Badge sold on WAF.. Anyone saw it too? What's your opinion Gentlemen?
EBJ Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I have had three original silver badges; one with fat pin and two with round pins. All pins were blued. I have a gold badge documented as taken from a POW toward the end of the war in Italy. It has a fat pin and an Assmann TM behing the swastika. Any thoughts?! EBJ
Wood Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) Assmann TM behing the swastika. Any thoughts?! EBJ I do not think any of these badges were maker marked. Pete Edited September 13, 2011 by Wood
EBJ Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 How many gold ones have you seen? I have been colleciing for 55 years; this is the first gold one I have seen that has provenance. EBJ
Kev in Deva Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 How many gold ones have you seen? I have been colleciing for 55 years; this is the first gold one I have seen that has provenance. EBJ Have you any pictures of the mentioned items that have passed through your hands? Kevin in Deva.
EBJ Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I may still have some photos I can get copied. R.J. Bender was going to do an article about AP badges years ago, so I sent him photos of all mine. As I am an "old timer", I have been thinning down my collection and only have the gold one remaining.
