Noor
Hi guys, It has been a long time when I obtained any nice ribbon bars. But today I received this nice small set. I presume it belonged to the Navy officer. First is large trapez pre 1914 three place ribbon bar: Also he had this little gem... I just love it - haven't seen many small size trapez bars around! Looks like these are his war period entitlments? Now, there was as well third bar, what I don't own and was sold separately.... shows his whole set on 20s. Meantime probably helps to "understand" his service - probably officer from Oldenburg, in service at least 1897, service during the war. Kind Regards, Timo
Deruelle
Hi Timo, Very nice ribbon bars you find there. congrats Too bad that you don't have the big one. This one is very nice and I particulary like the silver crown on the Oldenburg ribbon. This is not necessary a Navy officer but it will be interresting to do some research to id this bar. M Hunter
Timo, Very nice ribbon bars indeed. A shame you did not get the longer ribbon bar but at least you have the photograph. Best wishes Matt
