I have been posted it few times up to the forums without luck of 100% identification. It is surelly pre WW2 period and linked with the Red Cross. Regarding the text, it is some kind a merit award. Now, looks like there is like a wings.... is it some kind a flying army red cross merit award or like someone tought - youth organisation. Ribbon is most likelly incorrect and probably Hungarian. new world Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 (edited) It's medal of Youth Organization of The Red Cross, from WW2 period. Medal existed in 3 classes. Most likely it's 2nd class (it's supposed to be in silver, see how silver plating had worn out). Ribbon for 2nd class should be solid green. It's not for my collection then (I try to be focuse only pre 1939 stuff), so maybe someone can advise me with the fair price? I checked already some of the biggest online shops lists, ebay, some auction house cataloges and I can't see it on sale anywhere!
