How are the pins set up on the reverses of the multiple row Bundeswehr ribbon bars? I've never handled any except single rows, so am curious about their construction.

The backs of the larger ribbon bars,that i have owned all looked like this.the modern ribbon bar is mine,i used it as a exampleof a ribbon bar i seen and didnt like the way it looked.
