AOK4
The last medal is a Belgian Crown Order. One would need to have it in his hands to see whether it's an old one or not.
M Hunter
Dear Roman, I believe this one was on eBay a short time ago. I do not like the "rope" that is used to sew down all of the medals. We would assume the Belgium Order was awarded pre-WW1? Can the Baden Zahringer Lion Merit Cross be awarded on that Baden ribbon? I honestly don't know but this is the correct ribbon. Best wishes Matt

saschaw
Actually about 600 awards of this cross on this ribbon between 1915 and 1918. I saw this medal bar as well. I do not find this is a reasonable combination, and when the bar apprared for the first time, some years ago on eBay, it was offered by a seller who's a bar faker in my opinion. I do not like the bar and would not buy it. If I did, I had probably won the auction... sorry! Edited October 29, 2011 by saschaw

VtwinVince
I agree with Sascha on the first bar. I had a good, long look at it, because I like weird combinations with foreign awards. Something about this one just didn't look right to me.
saschaw
The 2nd bar looks way better, I'd say that's a good one. The small golden merit medal on Karl Friedrich ribbon is very rare. is it a real gold or a gilt one?
Roman Slivin
Thank you Sasсha! Medal with gild.
saschaw
402 wearers listed at Roth, Volle gives 395 and Klietmann 502 awards. Be it even a hand full more - these are rare.
