DavidS Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Regular Membership Badge came with box and pin. Box very worn, kanji can still be read (just) as 章員會正
JapanX Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 That`s what I am talking about! Boxed specimen with rosette!!! (could you make a good photo of the last one?)
JapanX Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 By the way, the box looks like it was made in China ;)
hc8604 Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Kanji would be referred to the Japanese use of the Chinese characters in their language and only refers to the Japanese writing and not Chinese writing itself. Hanzi is the appropriate term in Mandarin Chinese. 中國 would refer to the country of China. (Zhongguo/chungkuo) 中華 could be used as the term Chinese or 華 itself. (Zhonghua/chunghwa) hope this helps...
JapanX Posted June 24, 2012 Author Posted June 24, 2012 Kanji would be referred to the Japanese use of the Chinese characters in their language and only refers to the Japanese writing and not Chinese writing itself. Indeed! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanji
