hc8604 Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 Kanji would be referred to the Japanese use of the Chinese characters in their language and only refers to the Japanese writing and not Chinese writing itself. Hanzi is the appropriate term in Mandarin Chinese. 中國 would refer to the country of China. (Zhongguo/chungkuo) 中華 could be used as the term Chinese or 華 itself. (Zhonghua/chunghwa) hope this helps...
