Infanterie-Regiments Graf von Monts Oberstlieutenant vom 11. Infanterie-Regiment. von Salisch Major vom 11. Infanterie-Regiment Hope you guys can help me out! The reason for my question is that they all received the kurhessian order of the Golden Lion Thanks so much! Regards David
Dave Danner Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Hi David, I don't know if you still need information on these, but here are some of them: The commander of the 13. Inf.-Rgt wasn't Redern, but Roedern. Albert Karl Erdmann Ludwig Ernst Graf von Roedern, 23.7.1793-18.4.1861. Graf von Monts was Friedrich Wilhelm Karl Graf von Monts de Mazin, 24.12.1801-13.6.1886, later Gen.d.Inf.z.D. Your von Rheinbaben was a Baron/Freiherr von Rheinbaben, but I'm not sure which one. Regards, Dave
Glenn J Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 David, Dave, the von Rheinbaben was Karl Frhr. v. Rheinbaben (1798-1855), later commander of Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 24 and who died in that appointment as an Oberst. Regards Glenn
